An urban infill project in the Highlands neighborhood of Denver, Colorado the GreenCube became one of Denvers first Leed Platinum certified homes.  The house packs an efficient use of space on a compact lot with setback and height limitations.  Simplistic forms and materials reflect the various functions of the interior spaces as you move from public to private space with each level.  The top floor provides a private rooftop deck that boasts views of the mountains and the Denver skyline.  With recycled materials, low VOC paints, evaporative cooling, solar panels and many more green features, the “green cube” is a literal play as a visual reminder of the homes green approach.
